In just under two weeks’ time, we are thrilled to host a very special event, at our property Ouse Bridge House, which overlooks Bassenthwaite Lake and the Wainwright Mountain range. Under the guidance and care of your hosts Matt Price Sensei 6th Dan (JKS English Karate Team coach) and Ben Richardson 5th Dan (Assistant team coach) you will experience what we know will be an incredible 3 days, designed to introduce you to or develop better your skills and knowledge of GASSHUKU usually only available to experience in Japan.
Your days are designed to make the most of your time here with us. On arrival on Friday, it’s straight to “work” as you attend your first session of training. The following two days after waking up in one of our 10 comfortable and superbly located rooms at Ouse Bridge House, you’ll enjoy a nutritious and filling local and delicious breakfast. Then, it’s time to get your bodies moving and you stimulate your muscles and join your hosts for a morning of Karate training with Matt and Ben.
Don’t worry we want to keep things balanced for you so after training, you’ll have an option to focus the mind on our incredible surroundings and immerse yourself in nature by joining us on one of our guided walks, but feel free to head off and indulge your own sense of adventure. Your free time is your own to enjoy and we will make sure you have the opportunity to experience as much or as little of our local area as you wish.
