Just a short few months ago, our lives changed for the better as we welcomed a charming feisty little fellow into the Ouse Bridge House family, a pup called Rocky! Our new arrival is beloved by our staff and guests who get to meet him during their stay.
Any dog owner knows that it’s heart breaking to have to leave your four-legged friend behind when you are going away for any length of time. Often, hotels and apartments do not allow pets to stay for several reasons.
If you are looking to take a break in the Lake District with your best four-legged friend, please be assured that dogs are very welcome at the Ouse Bridge House, by prior arrangement. Holidays and short breaks mean so much more when you have your canine companion by your side. Right outside our hotel are acres and acres of the most stunning countryside just waiting to be discovered, with rambling long walks, forest trails and pet friendly visitor attractions nearby.
We will welcome your dog with a water bowl and towel, and hope you’ll take us up on a fresh breakfast sausage too! Other facilities provided include dog bins and all our bedrooms are dog friendly and are deep cleaned after each stay.
With the rise in popularity of outdoor dining following the pandemic, alongside the rise in dog ownership, you’ll find almost all our local eateries and pubs to be dog friendly so you can enjoy a well-deserved beverage or meal in one of several restaurants around the lake district.
