Here at Ouse Bridge Guest House in the heart of the stunning Lake District, we are beyond thrilled to be able to welcome you back to enjoy all we have to offer at our beautiful property surrounded by best that nature can offer. Over the last year or so, many people have realised the importance of maintaining one’s wellbeing and mental health.

With this in mind, we want to tell you that our reopening to the public included a full Pilates and well-being retreat! Something we will be continuing with as an option for our guests.

Pilates is a hugely beneficial for one’s physical and mental wellbeing and we could not imagine offering you a better location to do it than here in at Bassenthwaite Lake.

You will find yourself away from the distractions of life and be able to rejuvenate your mind and body through practicing Pilates. It doesn’t matter what your ability is, beginner, intermediate or advanced, all guests are welcome to reap the rewards of Pilates, which includes back pain relief, core strength and much more.

If all the above sounds good, we can only imagine how “Zen” you will feel as you head outdoors where you can enjoy a brisk walk, meditative ramble under the stunning backdrop of The Western Fells. For those bursting with energy, we can also advise you on where to seek out some more adventurous activities close by Ouse Bridge Guest House, including Horse-riding and Sailing.

Otherwise you can enjoy the slow pace of life and watch the world go buy with other nature filled activities such as bird-watching and fishing.
